I've been adopted!

#678806
Age:2 years, 1 month
Weight: 41 pounds

How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by their previous owner on July 24, 2020.

At SDHS:
Kiyoko has been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Kiyoko is a silly, playful girl with a colorful personality. She initially takes some time to warm up to new people and situations, but opens up with patience and treats. And once she's comfy, she's the life of the party!

Kiyoko's ideal adopters will be patient and willing to utilize positive reinforcement training to continue helping her build confidence. She is also still getting used to the idea of being on a leash, so having a yard in her new home would be ideal, especially since she's still working on her housetraining. And while Kiyoko gets along great with other dog pals, she can be slow to adjust, so she would not be a good candidate for dog parks or dog beaches. Prior to adoption, you will meet with one of Kiyoko's trainers in order to learn more about her and how you can help to set her up for success moving forward. Interested?
