How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by his previous owner on October 22,2020
Why this pet is the one for you: Earl is a sweet dog who takes some time to warm up to new people. He would be most successful in a home without other animals and he would prefer to be in a low- traffic neighborhood without a lot of dogs present. He would also do best in a home with older children who can respect his boundaries. Belgian Malinois are active, intelligent, friendly, alert, and hardworking. This dog is bred to have incredibly high drive and energy. If they are not given a job to properly channel their instincts they can develop destructive or neurotic behaviors. Malinois are not ideal for first time dog parents. Malinois need a lot of high-intensity training and require strenuous activity to remain happy and healthy. Though the Belgian Malinois temperament is sometimes willful and playful, they are highly trainable and thrive on obedience, trick, and agility training. Earl's ideal home would be with a human devoted to engaging him in obedience training, agility, fly ball, dock dogs, or another advanced canine sport. We recommend doing ample research on this breed before decided to adopt. If you are an athletic, high energy human, with plenty of time to devote to training Earl then he may be your perfect match!
