How this pet arrived: Max was brought in by their previous owner on October 16, 2020.

Why this pet is the one for you: This is Max! He can be a bit shy when you first meet him, but time and patience will go a long way. He has lived with young children and did well. He has never been exposed to cats, and really does not like other dogs; that said, Max might do well as the only critter in his new family (definitely as the only dog), and would not do well in areas where a lot of other dogs congregate, like dog parks or dog beaches. Max was crate trained in his previous home, and he considers his crate to be a safe place so we recommend continuing that in his new home. He also had some bladder stones that needed to be removed, but right now he is on a special diet to help and he's feeling good! Max is a faithful and loyal companion as his biggest wish is to be by your side - whether on a run or relaxing by your side. If you think you're interested in the one and only Max, schedule an appointment to learn more!
