Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Mia; this pretty 3-year-old shepherd mix is an easygoing girl looking for her next adventure buddy! She was brought in as a stray, so we don't know too much about her; what we can tell you is that Mia has been a lovely girl toward everyone who's met her here at SDHS! We've also noticed that she can be somewhat picky about how she's handled, so older and respectful children might be best for her. Also, if there are other critters in the home, our adoptions team will discuss how to go about slow and gentle introductions, that way everyone can make a good first impression.
