At SDHS: My name is Dobie G (the G stands for GOOFY) and I'm a playful, awkward GOOFBALL! I love attention and can be overly exuberant, jumpy and mouthy with people. My previous owner said I'm people friendly, listen well, but when I get bored, I may chew on inappropriate items -oops! I can be sensitive about how new people handle me, especially those diabolical veterinarians! I would thrive in a home with children over the age of 15-years old and I'm potty-trained! When I arrived here, I was very thin and had intestinal issues. I'm better now, but the medical team needs to inform you of my medical history and potential future needs. At the shelter, I have enjoyed playing with squeaky toys, fetch, going on field trips and hanging out with staff. While out on leash walks, I can be very vocal towards other dogs. With dogs I have met here at the shelter, I engage in play and GOOFY-ness!
