How I arrived: I was transferred in from another shelter on May 17, 2018.
At SDHS:Hello, I'm Casper! I would do best in a patient, adult only home that has another dog. Since coming to SDHS I've had my whole world changed. Before, I never really met any people or any other dogs. Because of my lack of social skills and inexperience with life, I'm shy, reserved, and often bashful. But oh boy! Once you get to know me my tail wags so fast my butt can't keep up and I hop up and down whenever I see you! It just takes me a while to feel comfortable around new people and places. Trust is just so important to me. I would love to find a patient family that has the time and energy to take on a project like me. But don't you want face kisses and butt-wiggles in return? They're the best, I promise!! Our staff will tell you all about how silly I can be. I'd love to meet everyone in the home, humans and dogs alike! I'd love to find my new home. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, a certificate for a free veterinary exam, waived enrollment fee for medical insurance from TruPanion, and a license if residing in Escondido, San Marcos, Poway, Oceanside, and Vista.
