How this pet arrived: Valentina was brought in as a stray with 2 other dogs.
At SDHS: Valentina has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Valentina is now ready for her new home!
Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Valentina! Valentina is a super sweet girl who is looking for her forever home. Valentina was used to being out on her own, so she would not be a good candidate for apartment living. She will need regular access to an outdoor yard with a secure fence. She will likely do best in a quiet home with a small family size. Valentina may struggle in "busy" environments such as farmer's markets, cafes, etc. Valentina's history with cats is unknown, though she may do best in a home without cats. She has shown social behavior with other dogs of similar size and age. She may do best in a home with another human-social dog. A Behavior Consult for Fearful behavior is required prior to adoption. If you would like to meet Valentina, bring a leash and collar and come to the Escondido Campus.
