How I arrived: I was brought in by a Field Services Officer on 7/2/18. At SDHS: I have been vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered. I'm now ready for my new home! Why I am the one for you: I have been making new friends and enjoying my time with the Staff and Canine Companions during my stay at the Escondido Campus. DISCOVERED: Based on intestinal adhesion's seen during spay surgery, it is suspicious that this dog may have a history of pancreatitis. She has shown no clinical signs while in our care. However, it would be important to discuss this with your veterinarian so you can keep her on an appropriate, low fat diet and prevent further episodes. Please avoid feeding this dog any table scraps or high fat foods, as this can trigger episodes of pancreatitis.
