Meet the charming meatball who has won over our hearts. This is Captain! As the Captain of his own ship, he has decided that he does not want to be left alone. Captain has been working hard on his Separation Related Behaviors with his previous owner and is looking for a family who will continue his positive reinforcement training and behavior management. An ideal adopter would be patient and respectful of Captain's behavior, setting him up for success in the home. Captain is a big love bug and is very dear to his caregivers. Captain maintains that he is a lap dog despite his size. While in our care, he has gone on multiple outings and coexists well with animals and people in public. Our medical staff has been working hard to keep captain's skin and coat healthy, so he will need some TLC in his future home as well.
