I've been adopted!

I'm a Hidden Gem! Click here to read my Hidden Gem profile.

How I arrived: Jane was brought in by a Good Samaritan on August 17, 2019. She was found roaming around the Air and Space Museum in Balboa Park without an admission ticket.
At SDHS: Jane's owner never came forward to find her, and Jane was very scared on arrival at the shelter. She's had lots of support from the team at our Behavior Center to help her ongoing socialization. Her trainer is excited to meet with you prior to adoption to tell you all the tips and tricks of what floats Jane's boat (or spaceship)!
Why I'm the one for you:Jane is a goofy gal that loves outdoor time - she LOVES the water and will spend as much time as she can splashing in a kiddie pool! Jane also loves spending time with canine friends, we believe she will be most successful with a family who has a friendly dog at home who can help her blossom. Because she is a shy gal who is working on learning the ropes of trusting people and new experiences, going to a home with another dog is a requirement for her adoption. Jane is a very shy gal who will need a family where everyone will be an active part of her continued positive reinforcement training. Because new places and new faces are very overwhelming for Jane, everyone she will be living with is required to attend a meet & greet with her, and a consultation with her trainer. We believe that in an environment with a stable routine, you'll see Jane continue to blossom and begin to share her heart and goofy, playful personality as she becomes more confident! Do you have a dog at home who could use a friend to take under their wing? Do you have a big heart, patience and a soft spot for goofballs?
