Allow me to wax poetic over this handsome marshmallow for a moment! Dexter is a simple man who truly enjoys the "little things" in life like a cushy place to lay his old bones or a human to pet is doughy belly. He's a laid back guy who's looking for a retirement filled with sunny places to nap, pleasant strolls, and nightly cuddle sessions. In his previous home Dex lived with children, and it was a bit too overwhelming for him. He loves humans, but teenagers and grownups are more his style. Dexter loves meeting new people on his strolls especially if they bless him with pets! He's always polite to his canine neighbors although he doesn't have much experience with pups off leash. Dexter is a seasoned house dog who is trustworthy to free roam in the house when he's on his own. He may be a bit creaky and stiff these days, but he certainly still has a zest for life! Dexter is a mostly mellow mutt who still likes to get a little wild and playful every now and then! Dexter is so open-hearted and genuine. We think he deserves to be the apple of someones eye!
