Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Thor...he is a special boy with a lot of energy, and he's looking for a special family that can help him be that really great dog he knows he can be! Thor can be a little wary of strangers when first meeting, but warms up well when allowed the space and time he feels he needs. As far as young humans go, Thor needs to go home with children no younger than age 12 as he does not like sharing his things and needs to be around those who will understand when he needs his space; he is also not a fan of other critters, so he would need do be the only furry friend in his new home as well. Our adoptions and behavior and training teams will be happy to discuss how best to help everyone understand each other and thrive! Thor loves going on adventures, and will take any opportunity he can get to have a good time! Because he is a herding breed, Thor's new family will need to provide outlets for his energy that exercise not just his body, but his brain too; some great activities that can get him and his new family moving and grooving include treibball, K9 Nosework, and even dancing!
