How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by their previous owner on October 2, 2020.

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home!

Why this pet is the one for you:
Smoke is a good boy who needs space and structure. He is affectionate, and has the absolute best puppy dog eyes as he stares up at you lovingly while getting petted. Smoke can be shy at first. It is really important that everyone in his new home takes the time to get to know him, and learn how to read his body language. Once Smoke warms up, he is a bundle of energy. He gets very excited, and his body moves a little faster than his brain sometimes. Our adoption counselors can give you some tips and tricks for handling the shy/fearful behavior as well as the impulsive/energetic behavior in your home. Smoke is recommended for a home with adults only or children old enough to be able to read his body language on their own. Not recommended to go home with cats. If you're looking for a big snuggly couch potato who sometimes becomes a zoom-y potato, then Smoke might be the guy for you! He just needs someone to show him how to live a nice, calm, safe, indoor life. In return, he will give you endless kisses, snuggles, and friendship.

Color: White / Grey
Spayed/Neutered: Yes

My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, a certificate for a free veterinary exam, waived enrollment fee for medical insurance from TruPanion, and a license if residing in Escondido, San Marcos, Poway, Oceanside, and Vista.

This website is live and updates frequently, there is chance that when you arrive at our location the animal you have an interest in might have been adopted or another party might be going through the adoption process at that present time. Please note the Animal ID and bring it with you.
