I've been adopted!

How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by a Good Samaritan on July 19, 2020.

At SDHS:
Speedy has been receiving special support to build his confidence with our Behavior & Training team! His trainer is excited to talk with more about his progress and transition into his new home!

Why this pet is the one for you:
If you've ever seen this little guy get excited to go out and play with other dogs, you'd know why we call him Speedy! Speedy was found roaming the streets of San Diego with a few other dogs. While we are not sure of his history, it seems like Speedy is more comfortable with dogs than people sometimes. He has built playful, fun relationships with our staff, but with some hesitation. He is quick to make friends with pups his size and would benefit from a social dog friend at home to help him warm up to new humans. To be most successful, Speedy will need a home where everyone is mature enough to read his body language and have a helping hand in his continued positive reinforcement training and socialization. If you think Speedy could be a match for you, please schedule an appointment to talk with an Adoption Counselor about her today!
