Meet Dexter! Dexter is a handsome boy who can be a bit shy and fearful with some people. And because of this, it is recommended that everyone in the household meet with him before adopting. Dexter will likely thrive in an adult only home that is quiet, and provides the ability to avoid frequent encounters with other dogs. Dexter will thrive with continued training support to manage his dog reactivity. He is not a candidate for busy environments/outings (coffee shops, cafes, farmer's marker etc) due to reactivity and discomfort with strangers. His previous owner said that Dexter is just a big lap dog. So with time and patience he just might be your lap dog too. Dexter would prefer to be your one and only and it is recommended that Dexter be the only dog in the home. Also, no dog parks or beaches for this guy.
