Why this pet is the one for you: Can you believe what a beautiful smile this girl has! Meet Jitters, our beloved girl all the way from Louisiana! I don't know about you, but we are OBSESSED with her big bat ears, and her awkward charm. When Jitters first arrived we didn't know anything about her past. Unfortunately Jitter's has been at SDHS longer than any other dog, so we know her quite well now. When she first arrived we learned that Jitter's feels uncomfortable with strangers at times. Once she warmed up to us she showed us what an affectionate and goofy girl she is! Jitters is a silly girl who loves to play! She loves to bring us her favorite toys when we greet her in the morning (it's the cutest thing!). This sweet girls LOVES pets. In fact she leans her whole body into pets, and butt scratches are her achilles heal! Jitters can be very over the top with her bouncy displays of affectionate, so she will do best with teenagers or adults who won't be knocked over easily. This lady has lots of energy so she's looking for a human who will take her on lots of long walks everyday! Jitter's is a good girl, but no one's perfect! She's currently working on her leash manors. Jitter's can be reactive to dogs on leash, but she does seem to enjoy playing with other dog social canines! Jitters is a silly loving girl with a big personality! She's looking for an active human who will take time to continue her positive reinforcement training.
