I've been adopted!

#698523
Age:6 yrs
Weight:66 lbs

How this pet arrived:
This pet was transferred in from a shelter in Louisiana.

Why this pet is the one for you:
This sleek gentleman is Bruno! Bruno is a laid back "roll with the punches" kind of guy. He's made friends with all of our staff/ volunteers already, and is already making a permanent mark on our hearts! Bruno was flow here to safety before Hurricane Delta hit his home state. Bruno is loving the blue skies and low humidity in SD already! He's a sweet boy who adores pets (especially butt scratches!), and immediately leans his entire body into ours when we pet him. Bruno has the cutest bulldog like bowed front legs, and he has the sweet but stubborn personality to match! He adores going for neighborhood strolls to find scent trails to investigate! Like many dogs from the humid southern states, Bruno has tested positive for heart worms. Luckily, Bruno has already started his treatment at SDHS, and his final treatments will be performed by our vet staff even after he finds a home. While he's kicking those heartworms to the curb, it's important that Bruno's exercise is limited to mellow controlled leash walks ( no dog parks or chasing tennis balls for this guy!). If you'd like to know more about this handsome guy, book an appointment today!
