How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by their previous owner on December 4, 2020.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet T-Rex! Rawwwwr! T-Rex is a fun young fellow originally from Louisiana, and now he's looking for friends to keep the good times rolling here in the Golden State..."laissez le bon temps rouler," as they say! In his previous home, T-rex lived with a child, but it turns out he's not a big fan of kiddos. Therefore, all members of his new family MUST be age 14 or older (though an adult-only home would be preferable). As far as other four-legged friends are concerned, T-Rex has had some positive history with other dogs, but we're not sure if he'll be friends with every dog he meets and we don't know how he feels about cats; that said, our adoption team will guide his new family on how to conduct slow and gentle introductions with other critters. Something else to note is that T-Rex has tested positive for heartworm, which will require limited activity until his treatment is completed. He will have follow up treatment care with us at SDHS. Interested in giving a dinosaur like T-Rex a new home? Make an appointment to talk to an adoption counselor today!
